Parent cannot update email from changeyouremail@scoutbook.com

Hello,
I have a parent who cannot up date their email from changeyouremail@scoutbook.com. They are getting an error message that says a connection is pending. There were originally two accounts in Scoutbook and I removed the old one, but somehow the system still sees the conflict. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
