Cant update parents email from Changeyouremail@scoutbook

Hi, Trying to change a parent/ leaders email from Changeyouremail@scoutbook, sent multiple invites, but they cant go to the parent since its the wrong email.
Changed the email in the update profile section and it says the email already exists.
Any help appreciated

This adult had 2 Scoutbook IDs, one tied to a previously deleted BSA#.

I have merged the Scoutbook IDs and changed the BSA# on his my.scouting.org ID.

His e-mail in Scoutbook is the gmail address on his my.scouting.org ID.
