Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I have a new parent of a first time Scout who is locked out of any of the sites. She has tried PW reset and no joy and the security questions are not getting her in either. What should we do to get her reset? She knows that she needs to invite her son to create his own account and was attempting to do that when she was locked. Please let me know what you would need to assist? Thank you! - Bill
The chat bot on my.scouting.org can be used to bypass the security questions. If that doesn’t work, you can provide their member number and we can see if there’s anything obvious.
@WilliamMount I suspect that the parent’s date of birth might be incorrect. In this situation, it might be best for the user to contact the local council and ask them to do a direct password reset for her. They can also correct her date of birth, if that is needed.
