Mom says she is not receiving reminders and posts from calendar and troop emails sent from SB+ etc. I have checked her connections to her scout 14508321. I have confirmed he is listed on the events etc. Please advise.
When you look at the parent’s name in the Send Message interface in Scoutbook, do you see the No Email flag? If so, the parent needs to log into their account, go to the Administration section, then the Email section, and change the toggle to permit emails.
ETA: It’s probably a good idea to check spelling on the parent’s email as well by clicking on their Profile in SB+.
We have done it all. Not our first rodeo on these issues. No Emails is not on account. Spelling is correct. However Nov/Dec we did merge two accounts for her. So maybe that is the issue. We have checked everything on this end with COR. I am key 3 delegate so have all the accesses too. The email in scoutbook, SB+ and the email I am getting from parent are all the same email and correctly spelled.

@TammieZemler I’m not seeing any issues with her account. Could you try sending a message through Scoutbook to this adult and yourself with bcc turned off? Then, when you receive it, you can see if her email address appears in the to line or not. That will help us narrow down the issue.
If the issues started around the time that we merged the user’s Scoutbook accounts, then try opening the calendar events, remove everyone, then re-invite.
Sometimes we have seen adding +1 to gmail accounts fixes this for some reason - “emailname+1@gmail.com” - The + is built into the gmail system to be used as secondary address and no action is needed.
I have done this and it doesn’t work. She received NO emails from any events or messages from the troop.
Where do we add the +1? on their profile?
@TammieZemler You can try changing her Gmail to add a “+1”. For example:
example@gmail.com
example+1@gmail.com
This only works with Gmail, which uses aliases, and ignores the + sign and whatever comes after it. So you could put anything in place of the 1, like a name, or home, or Scouts or whatever.
