Parent not Showing as Linked

I have a parent who is not showing as linked in legacy SB. His member ID is 141161820 for the Greater Yosemite Council. When he goes to SBP, he can see his daughter and her advancement there, though we don’t see his wife, who strangely enough shows as linked in legacy SB. Her member ID is blank.

Can someone help me unravel this tangled mess?

@DavidParker7 this is a call council - in Registrar Tools - the Father is both Father AND Daughter of the Daughter - that needs to be cleaned up.
The mother needs to make a MID by making an account at my.scouting.org

The mother is not there cause she is not connected in Registrar tools to scout - see July 16, 2025 Scoutbook Plus Updates

Thanks! Is this something council has to handle? I noticed this on the mother’s page in legacy SB (highlight added):

I think it should disappear once they log in

The mother has logged in multiple times to legacy SB. She also shows as Connected in legacy SB. Council checked this morning and the mother is NOT showing in the Relationships for this Scout.

Saturday I resent her the invite, but she says that when she clicks on the link, nothing happens.

@DavidParker7 they used the new setup in SB+ for the relationship?

No. When they first came into our unit from another unit in the council, I sent the Invite from legacy SB. In SBP, only the dad shows right now.

When you click on the mom and Edit profile, it comes up with a blank page, besides the mom’s name:

I got her member ID (141161820) and tried that, but it is not finding it. My SE just told me that the family was previously in another council here in CA (Monterey Bay). Could that be factoring into the issue?

MID 141161820 belongs to a male with initial CB. It appears the Scout’s mother does not have a my.scouting.org ID. If she does not, have her create one first then get the MID from her to connect her to the Scout.

She can make a MID by creating an account at my.scouting.org

What a mess!

Ok, I’m having mom create her own my.scouting account and will try to get her all linked up.

I don’t see a way to remove the existing mom link in legacy SB. She created her new my.scouting account and it issued her an ID of 141652370. Not sure how to proceed.

I merged the mom’s SB accounts and set the proper council. The next time she logs in to Scoutbook with her new my.scouting.org ID, she will see the original Scoutbook account with the connection to the daughter.

Either you are the father can now follow the instructions in the PDF Donovan pointed to in order to connect her in Akela and remove the SB+ warning.
