Parent unable to RSVP in Scoutbook for son

Good morning,

I am unable to RSVP in Scoutbook for any activities for my son’s troop. I have contacted the council and they advised me to post here. When I spoke to the council they said that everything was synced up. I have attached what I see when I click on the calendar events that I have to RSVP to.

Please help. Thanks!

@MollyMoorstein- I would try a hard refresh of the browser or an incognito session

I have already tried that. Cleared my entire history and i have tried multiple computers. I can see other events, just not the ones that I have to RSVP to.

@MollyMoorstein- ok.. was not sure what you had done already. When ever I have have encountered that a hard refresh, incognito session and clearing cache and cookies for scouting.org has gotten me past it.

@MollyMoorstein not sure I understand this statement - so you get this error clicking on the event itself? no clicking the RSVP? What is the date of an event?

So I thought this might be easier. I added a snapshot of my the calendar below.

For events that you don’t have to RSVP I see everything just fine. Like Mulch day. But when I click on one that I need RSVP my son for, like the Adventure Park Overnight, I get the error message.

@MollyMoorstein are you Sure your Scout is an invitee on Adventure day?

I just tried logging in as my son and I was able to see everything and RSVP. So, as a parent am I not supposed to be able to RSVP?

You should be able to - Good data - we will see

I can do it through his account but not mine.
