There is a bug keeping scouts and parents in events even beyond the grace period. It’s been reported to the developers, but there’s no timeline on when it might get fixed.

Old Scouts showed back up & can't delete from calendar

Hello, on January 1 Scouts who are no longer active with our unit suddenly showed up on our roster. Two are Scouts who crossed and are currently active in the local troop, and one of them was only registered for a brief time in 2022. These, along with another Scout who transferred this summer, are all now on all of our calendar items for the year. I am not able to remove them. When I click “Edit,” it shows 55 youth. What is different here is that you’re reporting it’s happening for new events too. The bugs I’ve seen have been limited to events created while the scouts were still on the roster, so the bug you’ve identified may or may not be related to the already-known bugs.
