Partial on scout book for mbc

hi am having issue putting in a partial for my merit badge that am teaching I do not see an option to partial a scout

@mc20134

Are you connected to the Scout in Scoutbook (legacy) as a MBC for the merit badge in question?

Are you using the “My Merit Badge Counseling” tools in Scoutbook (legacy)?

yes I am this is for the first aid merit badge

@mc20134 on Legacy Scoutbook Dashboard - are you clicking “Edit Merit Badges…” then clicking First Aid and Scouts name?

yes but it’s make me put a date down for the all requirement it’s doesn’t let me pick partial

@mc20134 - you would not enter a partial for a requirement.. you can put a note in.

ok thanks for leting me know is there anyway we can make that an update on scout book mbc can do that because that would be nice

@mc20134 - to enter a partial on a requirement.. that is not how this works.

Give an example of what you think a partial is? A requirement is simply a requirement. It is either done or not.

that exactly that a partial is I wasn’t sure how to enter it in to scout book
( I know what a partial is I been in scout sense 2019 as youth and as a adult leader ) aslo how do I update my tenure on scouting .org to add all 3 of my membership Id to be count
and if you wanted an example here is one ( a scout who didn’t complete a requirement as written )

@mc20134 - in the instance that they did not complete a requirement then just add a note.. there is no vehicle for recording a non-completed requirement either on the bluecard or scoutbook.

In Scoutbook (legacy), you would need to add a note / comment to the individual requirement.

@mc20134 - a note entered will show up like this:

This was a note that the scout started to work on the requirement and what was done
