Payment error for leader registrarion

Have two adult leaders whose registration has lapsed. Going through the registration process, they are then getting this error message at the end:

“Online Registration payments can’t be completed for this unit at this time. Please contact your local council.”

Have sent a message to our council earlier today, but since we are in the height of recruitment want to make sure that scout registrations are not impacted too.

@ChrisMullooly- that is a my.scouting.org issue so it is a work with council issue

Yeah, that’s the right step. As Stephen noted, only council can assist with the registration issues. If there’s an issue they can’t resolve directly, they have the ability to file a ticket with national (which the volunteers here can’t do).

That was a known issue. My understanding is it should be fixed now.

The online registration system had some kind of issue with accepting payments. Whatever the issue was, it should be fixed now.
