They payment log in the Scoutbook web app show the net balance given all debits and credits, which is the only information parents need when making a payment. In the Scouting mobile app, the payment log is very confusing as it only shows debits, payments, and “other” credits (adjustments, fundraising, camperships, etc) completely separately. It seems to expect that every charge is reconciled with an exact payment, but this isn’t how units function. Payments are made to reconcile balances in whole, or even prepayments made in anticipation of coming charges. Currently it is impossible for a parent to look at the mobile app payment log to know exactly what their balance is and what they owe. Can the mobile app be modified to show net balance like the web app does?
