Payment Pending Status on Adult Leader Application

This parent recently signed up as a leader and I see him on the Troop Committee. I also checked with council and they said he looks good.

In My.Scouting, his application shows a different status from all of our other applications and when I looked at it, it shows the last step, Payment/Checkout, as Payment Pending. The leader said that they completed payment. All of my other applications show as Completed, but this shows as Closed. There may be no issue here, but it just seems odd that he shows differently than others.

Did this leader pay outside of the my.scouting.org registration system? For example, was a check dropped off at the Council office to avoid the credit card convenience fee? The system does not link payments made outside of my.scouting.org back to that system.

He told me he made the payment online.

Then you will need to contact your Council for assistance.

Ok. They don’t seem to want to do anything since it shows fine in their system. I wasn’t sure if there really was a problem.
