Ok, I’ve checked other posts and while they are similar to mine, they are not quite the same. Here the situation. I have 2 boys. We moved from NY to FL and all 3 of us have 2 member IDs, one each from our NY council and one each from the FL council. Up until this past school year, both boys were active. Now only 1 is. I am still listed in both troops as unit scouter reserve in both troops. When I log in to legacy SB, under My Family, it lists both boys twice, one for each membership and I can see them with no problems. However, when I log in to SB+, I get 4 error messages that “My positions and related permissions do not allow me to perform this function”. When those go away, I then have the Relationship Verification Needed dialog that lists: Son1(), Son2(), Son1(Troop 208). I click the I Understand button. When I click on Currently Viewing in the upper right, I see 6 items in the list: both units I was/am involved in. I also see son1 with his current unit with a ! after it, son1 with no unit with a !, son2 twice with no unit, one of which has a ! after it. When I try to view the youth profiles for the ones with the !, there are no relationships listed, even though when I view my profile, it lists both boys twice. For son1, on his active profile, as soon as click the + to add myself as parent/guardian I get the permissions error. Here’s where things get odd. When I view son1 or son2’s old profile from their inactive units, I don’t get the permission error and I am able to add myself. When I hit Save, I get a weird error: “Error /organizationGuid string [] does not match pattern ^[0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}$”. I assume that’s because we are inactive?
Ultimately, I just want to be able to add myself as parent/guardian to the 3 profiles that don’t list any parent so I stop getting the error, and in the case of son1, since he is active, to be able to see and edit his info, when necessary. I called our council and they referred here, to the forum. My active member ID is 137325804, my old ID 133062082. Son1’s old ID is 133062081 and his current ID is 137325803. Son2’s old ID is 137164544, and his current ID is 137366926.
