Phantom Dens in Calendar

I was trying to create a Lion Den in the Roster with no scouts so I could create the calendar URL to use in my welcome packet for parents. I created the blank den from the Roster and added the Den Leader, but it didn’t stay visible in the Roster and it the Leader didn’t stay assigned to the empty den. I tried it a second time and same result. A few days later, I now have two ‘Lion 2’ calendar URLs in the Calendar section but no Lion Den visible still in the Roster. Fast forward to today, I now had my first Lion join for the year and so I created the Lion Den again in the Roster with their Leader and it now stays visible in the Roster. Problem is, I now have 3 ‘Lion 2’ calendar URLs showing up in the Calendar section with no way to clear out the two empty phantom dens. Is there a way to fix this on my end or is this a bug? Thanks!

@StevenJudd do they start with a 0 digit? Is your child a Den Chief? This seems to often be caused by Den Chiefs

No and no. I tried to set the den up as #2 (with no leading 0) I’m the Cubmaster and the Lion and the Den Leader I added to the den was not related to me.

@StevenJudd- Donovan was referring to the Unit Number starting with a zero for the phantom dens

@StevenJudd I assume if you change the color on one of the Lions Calendars they all change?

This was sent to Developers for investigation - but I think you are seeing same den a few times

It doesn’t appear so, I changed the first one to yellow and the other 2 stayed grey.

I even tried navigating to different menus, and log out / log in to see if it would refresh and it still shows just one of the instances as yellow and the other 2 as grey.

Update from what I’m seeing on my end, my calendar only shows 1 ‘Lion 2’ den with a URL so that looks like it was fixed.

But now, my roster in Scoutbook+ does not show the Lion den or the 1 Lion I have registered in the Pack. (Scout ID: 141707522)

The ‘Lion 2’ Den does show up in Legacy Scoutbook with the Den Leader and single scout assigned to it:

I’m assuming this is still being reviewed by the developers?

Now it sounds like a cache issue that is know - try an incognito issue - if that works it is your cache

That was it, I opened an incognito window and now that Lion 2 den shows up on the Scoutbook+ Roster. Thanks!
