I have a registered scout who has two accounts in Scoutbook. Can you please merge 141468474 (keep as primary) and 140588728 (merge this historical information into the other). Thank you!
@PatrickHoffman that is fixed but odd - check the DOB as the Scout had different ones on the Accounts - if it needs fix Council can help

I’m having a similar issue with my son/scout. I instructed him to create an account in scoutbook before realizing that I would need to invite him. Can someone please assist me?

@JohnO_Rourke1 or do you mean all the extra Scoutbook users that seem to be made?
It’s important to not use nicknames when creating accounts at my.Scouting, because it makes it very difficult for the code to find a match.

@JohnO_Rourke1 there are 2 user names - (hisname)### and ***tron## - seems the tron was is more recently used - which to keep?
He says that he just tried using the “tron” one because it wouldn’t accept a three letter name. He says that would be okay to keep.
@JohnO_Rourke1 ok that is cleaned up - advise him that there is a Preferred/Nickname field he can use in the Scoutbook Profile. Also while his email is memorable as a teen, on college or employment paperwork he might want a backup email - ROFL.
Thanks for your help. LOL I was just talking with him about this as he was emailing a local appeals court judge about the law merit badge. hahaha.
