Product Pricing Error?

Parent has tried to submit online app but gets error.

Has several BSA ID’s:
Central GA Council (we are trying to put in an adult app here): 14251769
Pine Tree Council 134652590
Lincoln Heritage Council 137236176
Chickasaw Council ???

Parent gets the weirdest error message I have ever seen:
Error Code: “productPricingTermId” must be a number,“feeStructureCode” must be a string,“productAmount” contains an invalid value,“productAmount” must be a number, Message: Bad Request

My work around was to cancel out of Chrome and re-login to check applications. The one we tried to push through was there (and about 8 others when kept re-trying, lol). And we were able to make the payment and push through I think (shows as awaiting my COR, anyway). But I’m curious if I did something wrong? Or maybe its the parent’s account, she has at least one missing BSA ID we still can’t find, and two of her kids still don’t show… I was trying to get her loaded in my unit so I can reach out to my Council to resolve.

Wanted to see if there was anything I could do to avoid that error in the future.

Thanks!

Edit (31 July 2022): Had another parent try to register as a leader, she gets the same error message, but work around failed. Parent #2 has only ever registered in my council, so no weird bsa id stuff going on as with parent #1.

I just had a parent get the same error. When I tried to register a fake person so I could run through the screens with her over the phone, I saw the same info on my attempt. Havent found a workaround yet.

I have tried on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome with my laptop. Both gave errors.

Did you try logging out, clearing internet cookie cache, log back in, and checking My Applications? That worked for us.

@RonaldBlaisdell Do you have any insights here? Or could you at least ensure the appropriate people are aware?

@AliciaSherman what council are you in?

I’m the one that had the original issue. We are in Central GA Council.

Parent #1 got the error but did the workaround: BSA ID 14251769
Parent #2 got the error but could not workaround: BSA ID 3881988

Our unit sign-up night is tomorrow and I’m trying to make sure we will be able to get apps to go through. I have not tried to register any youth, so no idea if it will happen to them or not. But I don’t want to wait until tomorrow to find out!

I’m in Twin Rivers Council. I reported the issue to our Registrar. It was fixed the next day and the new family’s is all signed up.

I wanted to see if you were both in the same Council.

But it seems like a local Council set-up issue. Councils fees, etc are not set-up in the system. So I would start there, first.
