Rank marked completed on wrong date in SB - Resolved

I’m a new Advancement Chair. We have a scout that completed Star rank in October 2024. It was marked as completed in Scoutbook in February 2025. This means that I can’t mark her as complete with Life in April due to the 6 months req. Scoutbook is not allowing me to change her Star completed date. I do have admin rights (I think).

Any tips on what I’m supposed to do here?

You need to Unaward and Unapprove the Star First to change the date - often you need to save after Unapproving

Go to the Scout’s Star rank, click on the completion date, clear the Awarded and Leader Approved flags and save. Now click on % Complete, set the correct date, set Leader Approved and Awarded.

Note if the Board of Review date is filled in, that must also be cleared before setting the new completion date.

Thanks, guys. I was just trying to save a new date. I didn’t clear and save first, and then put in the new date.
