I have seen a few reports of the advancement recording failing and that the issue is closed. However, I am still getting an error when recording advancement that says it failed and to try again later. Is this issue being reevaluated? Is there a work around?

@JakeBurnett you are not giving enough info - what URL are you using? How are you entering the data (manually or with Quick entry)?
Unit quick entry. Advancements.scouting.org. Tha’s the only method I know.
The other method described in the video 3:43 Troop Advancement Using Scoutbook (Video) - Scoutbook Knowledge Base does not work. It takes me to the Scoutbook Plus profile of the Scout and there is not a space to add an advancement.

I have a scout who’s BSA History Report does not reflect all the data that’s been entered into Scoutbook. We are trying to complete her ESRA and the report discrepancies and missing data is causing issues. How can I resolve this issue for her?
@OliviaMartin well requirements are not part of the Eagle App - only some Complete Rank and Merit Badge dates. What exactly is the issue? In Scoutbook you can produce a prefilled out Eagle Application out of Reports
We’ve been told that we cannot use that ESRA anymore but have to use the new form that’s not tied into Scoutbook anymore. Is that not accurate?
That depends on Council/District as the differences are purely trivial - the new EA app should be in Scoutbook Soon - when originally sent from Program there were PDF issues that had to be first addressed.
