Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
Cub Scout 137110941 has not been on my Scoutbook Plus roster since a little bit before Summer Camp this year. He is my son (I am Cubmaster), and it may have happened when I advanced the Dens after June 1st.
If I go into his profile, he shows as being a part of our pack, and it looks the same as other scouts in the pack.
I have had my one Den Leader try to figure out how to fix this, or see what is different, and he couldn’t see anything that sticks out.
He shows up correctly in the roster on My.Scouting.org under organization manager:
I have talked to Council at our Scout Office a few times, and they say everything looks good on their end, and that they can’t do anything with Scout book to fix this.
Can anyone help me out with fixing this, and do you have any idea how this might have happened so that I don’t do it again?
@FrankWarenda he is in the SB Pack - one thing an Admin might try is this - go to SB+ Roster - Edit Bear Den - Add Scout to the Den - then Edit AOL Den and Add Scout Back - there might be a position that is wrong that this could correct.
Also I would try an incognito window to see if that solves it - as it kind of sounds like a browser cache issue
@FrankWarenda It looks like the parent / child “Relationships” for two of your children (F. and C.) are messed up. Your local council should be able to fix using their Registrar Tools.
Another issue I see is that your son is in an AOL den, but he has a Webelos position code. If you temporarily move him to a different den, then move him back to the AOL den, it should fix it.
When I was in the SB+ roster, I never saw his name under the “edit den pages”. I could see all of the other scouts, though.
I had tried clearing my cache also, and also had my other Den Leader try to look him up (who happens to be IT for a local school district), and everything on his computer looked just like mine.
Either way, when I went to look at it today, and try the things that you, and Jennifer Olinger suggested, he was right in the roster, and already placed into the correct Den. AFAIK, no one at Council looked into this in the last few weeks (unless one of you folks contacted them).
EIther way, that part of the problem is fixed. Thank you!
I had thought I had gotten those “relationships” fixed a year or two ago. I first noticed it when checking of attendence for events…my son had the “adult” icon instead of the “kid” icon.
instead of
.
I thought we had that fixed awhile ago, and then I uploaded a real picture for him, so the icon is not there anymore. Thank you for pointing that out! I will get it fixed with my council regisrar!
Thank you so much for your ultra-quick response, and looking so deeply into my issues!
