I would like to remove two units from my scoutbook. I need Pack 536 and troop 5535 removed.
If you’re not the last unit admin, you should be able to remove yourself simply by putting an end date on your membership in each unit.
It’s located under Scoutbook → My Dashboard → Administration → My Account → My Positions
Then scroll to the relevant roles, click on them and add an end date.
If you are still registered with the units, however, anything that triggers a roster synch will potentially re-add you. Your council could actually end your registration in each unit if necessary.
@MeganArlitz I have ended your positions with those units, as requested.
I would recommend contacting your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up your child (or children). In the “Relationships” section, you should only be listed as parent under your current BSA member number. They should remove you if listed as parent under other BSA member numbers. Otherwise, your BSA member numbers might get switched at Recharter.
I would also recommend that you double-check your e-mail address at my.scouting and in Scoutbook, because they are slightly different. You are also opted out of e-mails in Scoutbook, but you can opt back in.
Thank you so much. I updated the email address as well. I appreciate you doing this for me.
@MeganArlitz Did you want to opt back in to e-mails from Scoutbook?
If so, log in at Scoutbook and go to:
My Dashboard → Administration → My Account → Email
Look for the “Messaging Opt-Out” toggle, and slide it to the off position.
