Renewal Help

Hello I received a message from our den leader that my son’s registration renewal expired in December. I remember seeing on the form that renewals are now done online and that we would receive an email. We never received an email. I registered for a new account saying that I am a parent registering for a youth. My son’s info came up and it shows registration expired in December but not seeing anywhere to renew. Please help. His Member Id 137466989

@JackS It looks like you created an account for your Scout – not yourself.

Try this:

  1. Go to my.Scouting.org and click on “Create Account”.
  2. Provide your name and your date of birth (DOB).
  3. Look for your member ID number, which should be: 137466981, click on it, and then click on “Retrieve Information”.

I created an account and it gave member ID 141527114. I’m not seeing anywhere to click and retrieve info. I did get the icon on the top saying Jacks registration was expiring but when I clicked on it it said I couldn’t renew it.

@JackS Are you the father? The mother is the one who has the “relationship” at my.Scouting that is needed to renew the Scout’s membership.

That did the trick thank you. Didn’t realize her name was the one on the account.
