I have two scouts in my pack that show as membership expired on 8/31/2024 (BSA IDs 140529341 & 140522558). They have been in this status since 8/31/2024. The parent went online and renewed their memberships. The unit COR has been monitoring the situation and there are no pending renewals. As AC I have let the parent know that we have a 60 day window/grace period before anything really happens and prevents the scouts from continuing advancement. The scouts membership is now at day 366. The council registrar has stated that there appears to be no issue in the system. How does the pack resolve this issue and get the scouts out of expired status?
Both renewals are marked PendingApproval. A Key 3 should be able to go into my.scouting.org, select the unit Roster then below the list of Scouts select > Membership Renewal Orders. On the right side of the line with the Scout’s name should be 2 options Approve and Disapprove.
If none of the Key 3 see this, the Council will need to open a ticket with BSA Member Care.
