Individual Renewals Due in 5 Days: No Option to Renew

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to complete individual renewals for BSA members, but I’ve run into a problem. On my scouting.org the system doesn’t seem to show that I have any renewals. However, when I log in to my son’s scoutbook, it says that his registration is due in 5 days. Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution?


Any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

@ZijunGuo - are you just trying to renew your son? It would not seem that you are connected to him in the my.scouting.org database. What happens when he logs into my.scouting with his credentials ?

@ZijunGuo - ok… on the person icon in the upper right select my profile and scroll down to see the registered positions and expiration dates

here are the registered positions and expiration dates

@ZijunGuo you are logged in as a Scout - your parent log in is your email XXXXXXXXXXX0801@ - that should allow you to complete renewal once you are in my.scouting.org with that log in

@DonovanMcNeil thank you for your reply but even when I log in as a parent i still can’t see anything regarding his renewal.

What about under memberships or applications?

never noticed the “2025” dropdown top right

Either Way - Council should be your first stop for renewal questions

there is nothing under either of them

there is an automatic 60 day grace period after expire date
