I hope you are doing well. I am writing because when I try to access the Reports page in Scoutbook Legacy, I receive an “Access Denied” message when attempting to view, print, or download my Scouts BSA History Report.

I wanted to ask if it is possible for me to be granted access to this report. The information contained in the Scouts BSA History Report reflects my personal BSA history, and I would like to be able to view and download it for my records.

Go to administration > my account > reports. You should be able to run it for yourself there.

Hi,

I attempted to run the report as suggested, but I received a red error message stating, “You do not have permission to run this report.” I am a bit confused as to why I would not have the required permission to access it.

Could you please advise on why this might be occurring or let me know how I can obtain access to the report?

Hi

I attempted to run my own record report earlier today, but encountered an error message stating “System Failure 97.” I also noticed that the letters fields appeared in red.

I’ve reviewed the user permission guide, which indicates that users should be able to run their own reports, so I’m unsure why this issue is occurring.

Could you please assist in looking into this or advise on how to resolve it?

@m20134 what exactly are you trying to run when you say your own? What is the report name?

Scouts BSA History Report its does say self that the only reason i used that word

Are you clicking it in SB+ > under Profile > Run Report?

yes and that when i get the error message in red

@m20134 try again - I think this should be resolved.

I am also getting the error message “System failure (97).” when trying to run the Scouts BSA Individual Advancement Record in the Scout’s profile → Run Report. It is also happening when I try the BSA History Report.

@ShirleyHall let me check - the report permissions are still being cleaned up
