How do we resend invitations in SBP? I don’t see a way to do that in SBP.
It’s also very possible I’m misreading Charlie’s post.
So what email are you talking about. The email to the parent with relationship to Validate it. Or email to new parent to inform them?
In Legacy SB, there was a button to resend an invite. That’s the one I’m talking about. I don’t see the same button in SBP.
On the Scout’s page there is a + next to Relationships. This is how you request a new relationship to a Scout. An existing parent will need to validate it by following the instructions in the e-mail they will be sent.
Understood, but if they don’t have that email or it has been too long, is there a way to resend it?
Click the + again and send another one.
When I try that, the only relationship option is “Guardian of”. The one I’m looking at is the mother of the Scout and it shows that in SBP.
That’s a bug. Post the Scout’s and mother’s Scouting America Member IDs (no names) and we will get it reported to the developers.
The workaround until this is fixed is to contact your Council registrar and have them use the Relationships tab of Registrar Tools to add the link between the Scout and mother.
Scouts ID is 141631158. Mom’s ID is 141631157. Greater Yosemite Council.
The mom and Scout are already connected in Akela. When you look at the Scout’s page in Scoutbook Plus do you not see the mother’s name under Relationships?
I do see her there as mom.
Then everything is fine. You do not need to invite her again. She should use her my.scouting.org ID to log in to Scoutbook Plus.
