Does the “Respond to Lead” button on the lead detail page work for anyone? For me it causes the browser to start my default email application but with no key-3 email addresses. As a district membership chair nagging units to respond to leads this increases my time required tremendously as I have to cross reference their roster. I have tried multiple browsers.
@JoshSteinhurst -talk to your council
The respond to lead button enables you to send an email to the person who is inquiring about Scouting. It should put their email address in message that gets opened.
Oh boy, I meant to type “Email Assigned Organization”
@JoshSteinhurst - all that the respond to lead does is call the default email app and email of the person clicking the button. No more no less
Ha! I thought that this had been fixed but closer inspection shows it now calls the default email application with the email addresses of the District key-3, not the unit’s key-3. Baby steps.
I am not savvy with technology, so I usually post a response such as emailed Pack 123 regarding the youth application or adult application. I am not sure what most of the “buttons” do. Besides, then I have established a conversation with the unit. Some don’t know where to look for this information, so then it turns into a teaching moment.
