I’m the Troop advancement coordinator and I can do everything when sitting in front of my PC. But, when I’m at a meeting and trying to update SB+, it only shows my kid and no ability to toggle to the Troop.
Are you actually using the SB+ webpage in a browser on mobile, or just the Scouting app? The Scouting app was developed exclusively for parents/guardians & scouts to update things, and has no unit scouter permissions built in. The intent is to use the web interface to SB+ for unit administration by scouters.
If you’re having issues with the actual web interface on mobile, can you please specify what browser you’re using and exactly what you’re seeing? It sounds like you’re saying that the position drop-down in the upper right corner of the webpage is missing. I’m not seeing that issue on my mobile device/browser (Chrome under Android), so I’m wondering if it’s a platform/browser issue.
Is it the red Scouting mobile app from the Google Play store or the App store?
Or are you going to Scoutbook Plus using the browser on your mobile device?
@RonPlunkett- the red scouting app is NOT for leader use. It is for Scouts and parents.
