SB Den Leader Roles, Confusion

That one was automatically ended when the dens advanced, but I’ve gone back and removed the end date and ended the one with no den mentioned. Now there are two Den Admin positions and both of them say “The user has a Den Leader position. You can end Den Admin position by ending the Den Leader position.”

Well, I went and was clicking through positions, and I opened the other one I ended (Webelos Den Leader) and just clicked save again, and now they’re both gone.


Opened/updated the Den Leader Den 4 position, both Admin positions came back.

How bizarre.

@BenMason - i took a peek at the leaders in my pack and noted the extra den admin generic and generic den leader coincided with our recharter postung date by council. So the script that runs to sync data from my.scouting.org to scoutbook makes those entries. You will likely come across scouts who have a youth member entry in their membership section. That is the same process at work.

Does anyone have any tips on the extra Admin positions? Is this a bug?

Ok I added the Admin position for the AOL den, and it only added one. The bug was that it would add two Admin roles when saving the Webelos Den Leader position (that I ended).

I think everything is straightened out now. I don’t know why I didn’t think of manually adding the admin, it has always just popped up automatically and was behaving strangely for this leader.
