One of my den leaders is showing up as just a den admin. It is affecting her ability to access all of SB. How do I add her as a den leader?

@AlexandraBrowne When you assign a person in SB+ to a den they become a Den Admin - that should give them needed access - currently you cannot assign as a Den Leader. What can they not do?

They are not connected to the Scouts in their den so they’re having problems running reports

If you’re a Unit Key 3 (CC, COR, CM), Key 3 Delegate, or Unit Admin, you should be able to go into classic Scoutbook, select the den leader’s name on the roster and re-save the Den Admin role to refresh it. That should reset the connections to the scouts in the den.

I’m the CC and have full access to everyone however I cannot select any adult leader in legacy SB. In my.scouting she is showing as a den leader. In the new SB she is showing as a den admin.

Den leader just responded with: “I cannot run reports or rosters for anyone in the den. I also cannot see contact info for anyone in the den”

She has also tried accessing Scoutbook with two different computers and in different browsers.

It would be much easier if the DL posted here so we can ask questions directly.

We need her Scouting America Member ID (no names) in order to look up her record.

The problem is she is a Den Admin in Den 1 but her Den Leader position is not assigned to a Den.

I suggest going into Legacy Scoutbook and creating a Den Leader position for her and assign it to the proper den.

There is no longer an option to add a den leader to a den in legacy SB. How do you suggest I create a den leader position for her?

Can you describe what you are trying to do and what error messages if any you are getting? We need to give this to the developers for investigation and need to be able to explain to them how to reproduce the issue. If you are having trouble accessing individual Scouts, please provide a few Scouting America Member IDs (no names).

Two issues:

  1. Den leader is trying to send messages and run reports to the Scouts in her den however when she logs in the only Scouts she can see are her own children. Member ID #13964060

  2. I am the Committee Chair who is also designated as COR delegate and cannot access her profile in SB legacy to correct her den leader status. I cleared my cache last night but am still having the same issue. When I look at all leadership in SB legacy I cannot access any of their profiles and there is no option to add a den leader when I click into each den. My member ID #13977542
