For 2-3 weeks now, any way I attempt to load roster in the SB+ main page stays stuck on blank (and greyed out header) roster with the circling loading symbol. I have permissions. My latest attempt was through Legacy while trying to create a new patrol for my recent crossovers. As expected “Reassign” took me to SB+ but the “spinning ball of death” ensues. Around the same time this occured, SB+ began loading me up with my council position as my primary which doesn’t have the needed access to my troop. The position drop-down at top right doesn’t display my troop position with the brown Scouts BSA tab, only my parent positions display brown. If instead I search for my unit using the search function at the left, the position icon turns from the council red-white-blue BSA symbol to the brown Scouts BSA symbol at which time I can do anything that doesn’t take me through the roster summary screen below. Legacy does bring me to individual scout profiles for editing but Quick Entry of activities and such do not work. Positions manager shows my Key3 status is still current with all permissions enabled.
Correction. No longer able to pull up individual scouts. Same spinning ball now.
Please try an incognito window to rule out cache and extension issues.
Yeah that is always a cache issue when I get it
I do much of my scouting through a work laptop which doesn’t have incognito functions enabled. i will try on my son’s computer. I tried it on incognito Safari and the same spinning ball results. Same on incognito Chrome on phone. This all started happen around the same time that clicking anything on Legacy that drives me to SB+ started opening the SB+ App window on my laptop which I didn’t think was possible. I’ve removed the app but the SBofD continues.
In Chrome on your laptop try holding the shift key and clicking the refresh button. This will force a reload, bypassing the cache.
@MichaelRowles - and you should not be in legacy scoutbook anyway. And there is no scoutbook plus app

@MichaelRowles - the scouting app is what that thread was talking about. That is in the app store and play store for mobile devices and is NOT for leaders
BTW shift+refresh worked for those who don’t speak Aurebesh
The app loaded itself for some reason. Something the work settings were supposed to disallow but instead due to a series of errant clicks become loaded and subtly replaced the Chrome page as a nearly identical look-alike. After a week or so I realized what had happened and deleted the app. The results were the same. The shift+refresh fix worked perfectly though.
