Unable to access Scoutbook Plus April 2026

I’m unable to access Scoutbook plus.

I can successfully log into Scoutbook (https://scoutbook.scouting.org/) and see my Scout and Troop’s information. However, when I click through to get more and it switches to Scoutbook Plus (https://advancements.scouting.org/), it just gives me the four spinning dots, but the page never loads. If I try to log into Scoutbook Plus directly, it accepts my login credentials but then sits with a spinning loading icon until the captcha times out.

I used to have no issues going into Scoutbook and Scoutbook Plus. However, over the last few weeks, I’ve been able to do so. I’ve tried multiple computers, multiple browsers, clearing the browser data and rebooting, all to no avail.

Any assistance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

I need to send this to the developers for investigation. I recommend trying an incognito window to rule out cache issues.

A parent in my unit is having the same problem as above.

@BonnieBrenner It might be because the parent’s relationships are messed up. The parent shows as both “Father of” and “Son of” the Scout.

The local council can fix the relationships with their Registrar Tools. After they fix the relationships, we can take another look.

I’m having the same issue. It also started about a week ago for me. I’m receiving an “Error: Something went wrong. Try again.” message when trying to load the login screen. I usually access Scoutbook Plus, by clicking on the Upcoming Events link within Scoutbook. When I do that now, the Scoutbook Plus login page will not load. This has happened in Chrome and Edge, even after clearing caches in both browsers.

Oddly, I was able to log in via my phone. So that adds to the confusion.

@DouglasKissner - please do not use legacy scoutbook. You want to delete those bookmarks and just use advancements.scouting.org

@DouglasKissner As one device works it sounds like a cache issue. Clear cache or try an incognito window and go directly to advancements.scouting.org

Was there a resolution for this? I am having the same issue on multiple machines.

@WaleedSayed - are you using advancements.scouting.org and do you get an error message? Can you log into my.scouting.org?

I was not able to login successfully using incognito either.
