Scout showing "A" advancement sync even though they weren't

A scout is/was showing that they are synced with the national DB. I found out when running a report, they didn’t have a BSA ID. Once they “really” got into the system, that version of them did sync over. Their old non-syncing self remains. It still shows the A icon, but I think that was shown in error for the entire time.

I thought we could rely on the @ circle icon to know that the scout was syncing with National from Scoutbook?

This is a known issue that the developers are working on.

You can send an e-mail to scoutbook.support@scouting.org with the Scout’s name, BSA#, unit and council and ask them to merge the two accounts.
