Scout Showing as Opted Out/ unable to do Quick Entry

Scout Member ID 140285809 was recently registered in July. The CC for the Troop reached out to me because under Quick Entry in Scoutbook Plus, the Scout is showing as “Opted Out”. The MB can be entered individually from her profile page. She is not in her window to renew, but I did check both the official roster in my.scouting and the roster in SB Plus and neither shows her as being Opted out. I checked her profile page in SB and I can’t find where she is showing as opted out. How do we correct it?

Weird I’m not seeing that on my end. She had been registered in 2024 and had opted out of renewing at the time. The CC’s ID is 131894449. Advancement Chair also saw it Member ID 140257578.

Send in a National Membercare ticket - include MID of Scout and MID of user that can see it

Please include picture(s), if possible, and clearly identify where the opt out is seen.

Here is the picture. I was able to find it in SB Plus under Quick Entry once I selected a badge to enter (I don’t know what badge they were attempting, I didn’t think it mattered once I was able to recreate it).

We have reported this to the developers.

I recommend opening a ticket so that your VST view of the Scout’s membership shows the opt-out status for all registrations. You can tell them to use the same view of this column that the SUAC has.

I am having a similar issue. Scout 137445672 shows current on the roster but in Quick Entry shows as Opted out. This scout has never opted out nor lapsed in membership to my knowledge.

This is a known issue. The Scout was opted out earlier this year but then renewed his membership.
