Scoutbook Connection Manager: Cannot specify relationship to scout

I am trying to add a parent to a scout’s connections. The relationship bar is grayed out so I can’t check the boxes, and it won’t let me complete the connection unless a box is checked. See below.

@GlennWolfe - you have to add a relationship in advancements.scouting.org.. been that way for a while now

Legacy Scoutbook Connections are dead. To add a parent a key3 can go to SB+ (advancements.scouting.org) > under the Scout Profile page on left side there is a relationship field - that is where it is added.

Thanks. And is it a true statement that anyone added must have a scouting account? That was not the case when we did this through Legacy scoutbook.

@GlennWolfe a scouting account is super simple for them to make (and many parents have one without knowing) - they just need to make an account at my.scouting.org - that generates a Member #ID
