Scoutbook + messages not working for MBC

Hi good afternoon I have a question I recently just got access to the Message system on scoutbook+ for my merit badge classes when I go to send the message it’s say that I don’t have permission Beacuse of my role but it’s let me click on the people who I went to send the messages to and type it out and attach a file if need but I can’t sent it I talk to another one of my MBC friends and she told me that she does have access to this and to email tech support I remember that we had access to this kind of thing in scoutbook legacy so I wasn’t sure if my account hasn’t updated yet

@m20134 a little better explanation is needed to understand. When you say “I cannot send it” - what exactly do you mean?

So it’s let me click on. Send massage than I get an error message saying your role doesn’t have the permission to send this message it show up in red.

@m20134 do you recall the steps to get the error with the scout picture?

And have you tried an Incognito or clear cache. Developers logged in as you and all worked fine.

Actually - it MIGHT be attachments???

Hi yes 1. I click on messaging on sb
2. I click on the merit badge with the scouts and parents/ guardians who I went to sent a message to 3. I add the subject line 4. I typed out the message 5. I click send than when the 2 error message come up and yes I have tried all of the different steps like the browser clearing my cookie, resetting my settings, etc. it does not work. Is there anyway the guys can reset my access please?

Hi I just try it again and it still doesn’t let me send a message it’s keeping saying “your position and rated permissions do not allow you to perform this action is there anyway someone can re set my account for me or give me the permission to get this fix Beacuse if I call my local council there going to tell me to connect you guys

Ok thanks for letting me know also I can’t print out a blue card on my end as an MBC
