Hello, My name is Arlene Cruz, I am the advancement Chair for My Troop. I’m having issues adding individuals to activities for volunteer hours. I can create the event no problem but when i try to add scouts or adult leaders to the event, the names do not populate. I tried typing the names in manually but it does not let me save the name. I cleared and refreshed my catch and I tried different devises but am having the same issues. Please help. Thank you
@ArleneCruz - most likely related to this:
A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. See the updated Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.
The UAC has little permissions in the unit
Committee Member
No Default Permissions Given
Activity
Create/Remove/Edit/Approveº - would most likely be the permissions that the key 3 would need to add
Creating the event is the Bug - you should not have access without the additional Activities Permission
I had access through ScoutBook Legacy as well as ScoutBook Plus. I can create the activity with no problem. This is a new issue that i am no longer able to add people to the activity. It has the tag to add people but when i click on it it go’s to a blank page, It lets me type the name but is not populating the individual to be able to add them. There us to be a drop down list that i could add indeviguals from my troop into the event but the names are no longer populating.
The permission system has changed. Advancement chair no longer has default permissions to do everything.
Thank you. I will reach out to my troop core 3
