Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
When running the Scoutbook Plus → Run Report → Advancement History → Run Report (green button) , it returns ALL Scouts in unit. I select one Scout, and it should return only the selected Scout. And it says it is creating report for the number selected. However, it generates report with ALL scouts in unit. I have attached three screen shots, showing how it was done and the failure.
@GanttEdmiston I have reported this to the developers. In the meantime, you may wish to try the CS History Report. If you run this from the reports menu at the Pack or Den level in legacy Scoutbook, it will generate the report for all members of the Pack or Den. Right now, in Scoutbook+, if you try to run the same report from the reports menu, you can only select one scout at a time.
@ZacharyMcCarty thanks for pushing this to development. My specific needs, and from the now deleted screenshots are for Scouts BSA reports specifically. I have not tested it on Cub reports, as I never need those.
Also, I apparently do not have access to run this Advancement History report due to lack of permissions (my assumption). See the screen shot, when I try to run this for a unit I am not registered. Our Council Registrar also gets this error, using your method.
I am a Scoutbook Legacy “Council Admin” which gives me some extra rights to deal with non-unit merit badge counselors.
It seems that Scoutbook Plus does not allow view access rights to our Council Registrar either.
We need the original method reinstated, or grant access to the Scoutbook Legacy “Council Admin” and the Council Registrar positions for ALL units in our Council.
These history reports are used to verify ranks and merit badges earned. We monitor Council units that are still not submitting their advancement via an Internet portal.
