Scoutbook Plus Roster- Can't open scout profiles

I’m runnning into a technical hurdle in Scoutbook Plus and hoping someone might have a workaround or fix.

I am trying to review individual Scout profiles and manage advancements, but the Roster page is not cooperating. Currently, the checkboxes next to Scout names are grayed out, and there are no active hyperlinks on the names themselves.

  • What I’ve tried so far:

    • Permissions: My Admin reset my permissions this morning to ensure I have the proper access levels as a Webelos Den Leader.

    • Filters: I have cleared and reset my filters multiple times.

    • Browser: I’ve cleared cache and cookies. Tried multiple browsers and tried multiple PCs. it’s tied to my account in Scoutbook.

    • Workarounds: I can access profiles if they appear under the “Advancements to Approve” section, but since not all Scouts have pending items, I can’t reach everyone’s full record.

    • Quick Entry: Interestingly, Quick Entry for advancements is working perfectly fine; it’s only the full profile review that is locked.

    Has anyone else experienced these names not being hyperlinked on the roster? If there is a specific setting I’m missing or a known bug with the current interface, I’d appreciate any insight!

@BenjaminWayne you are a Den Leader - but you are not assigned to a den. A Unit Leader (Key3 usually) needs to assign you to a den in SB+

The weird part is that I had access as recently as 2 weeks ago. Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll reach out to my Admin and make sure I’m still assigned to my den.

Security was tightened so that Den Leaders only have access to Scout’s in their dens where previously they had access to all Scouts in the Pack.

Does the security protocol limit how many users can access the records in a den? Although I’m the primary Webelos leader, I co-lead with our Cubmaster.

After a closer look at my profile, I am “unassigned” now. So that’s probably exactly the problem. Thanks again team. If there’s anything further, I’ll follow up here.
