Not sure if this has been reported yet or if it is expected behavior.
After assigning youth the new Scoutbook+ Advancements Youth permissions in Scoutbook+, my Unit Renewal in my.Scouting is showing an error “Error: Leaders are less than 18 years old” and lists all the youth that the permissions were added to.
If I remove the permissions from the youth, the error on the Unit Renewal page goes away.
The obvious workaround is to remove the permissions when we are ready to process the renewal, but thought someone might want to know about the connection between the new Advancement Youth permissions and the Unit Renewal.
Are you setting it in the youth roles tab or the adult roles tab? It sounds kinda similar to this thread.

The youth roles.
The permissions are working fine in Scoutbook+. When we assign the youth the permissions, it seems to work as expected. The youth login with their credentials and are able to see and mark advancement up to either First Class if all boxes are checked or whatever ranks they are granted.
The issue is when we went to my.Scouting to start the unit renewal. The unit renewal page showed the error listing Scouts assigned permissions and stating the error would need to be resolved to move the renewal forward. Once permissions were removed from the youth tab in Scoutbook+, the error on the renewal page went away.
Yes Suac saw and reported this a few days ago - thanks
