Scouting.org not letting me link my son to my account

I am trying to add my son to my my.scouting.org account, but I keep getting the error “The provided Member ID does not match the existing user profile” when trying to add it. We switched councils about 4 years ago and this is the first time our troop is having us renew on our own. I noticed my son wasn’t linked to my account so I was trying to add him. Not sure why it can’t link at all.

current MID#: 137260208 (new council)

Please help as my son’s registration is due soon!

@CrystaMcFarland only your council can do this - call the registrar - ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with Only your correct BSA member ID number
