HI there,

I am trying to create an Advancement Report for a couple scouts in my Troop but I consistently get this error when running the report.

System failure (97).

I am clicking on Run Report from the youth’s profile. This did work a couple weeks back for different scouts.

@PaulJurgens there are issues with your account.
First your registration is just for Committee Member - the Key3 Delegate is a fake one from Legacy Scoutbook.

As a Committee Member you do not have the security to run that report.

Your Key 3 should look at these links
A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. See the updated Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.

I will have to see what is wrong with my registration - I am the advancement chair for the troop.

@PaulJurgens - are you showing the key 3 delegate at my.scouting.org along with the functional role of UAC ?

No, in my.scouting.org i see only

@PaulJurgens the others are old fake ones from Legacy - that is why we got away from that. If Unit wants you to have other functional positions, Key3 can add them for you.

I guess I am confused. Which permissions do I need to ask to be added? And add these permissions in Scoutbook Plus? Or in my.scouting.org?

@PaulJurgens - here is the help page on permissions and report access

The UAC and/or key 3 delegate is done in my.scouting.org and the permissions are done in advancements.scouting.org

Got the permissions set and I can generate the report now. Thanks for all of the help.
