Why don’t the Service Hours in the Calendar update with the service log? I shouldn’t have to duplicate this information. In the calendar, I can select “service hours” and select the adults and scouts that did attend. Please link the two and reduce the repetition.
The calendar in Scoutbook was not designed to automatically update the logs, because people arrive late, leave early, or for other reasons do not necessarily have the same number of hours as others.
However, if you use the Feature Assistant Extension for Scoutbook, it has an option open the Camping/Hiking/Service Quick Entry logs pre-filled with information from a calendar event.
