Some of my scouts have a “connection” to the unit treasurer and other adult leaders, but new scouts only have parents and key 3. Is there an easy way to connect our treasurer to all scouts (so he can access the payment logs)?

From your unit roster page, click connections manager. Then, click on the treasurers name and select full control. That will update the entire row.
If you need to do this for a bunch of leaders, you might want to look into the feature assistant extension.
