Why would you switch from entering advancement in Scoutbook to Scoutbook Plus ni the middle of the day? I was 3 hours in to entering advancement from our Summer Camps when the switch was made. Now, some of the items that I added aren’t there and although I’m sure that is just a bug, it is very frustrating that I can’t check what I think I’ve entered. I feel like I’ve wasted an afternoon entering updates.
Also, some of the awards requirements that I was entering when the switch happened (specifically National Outdoor Achievment Award (Adventure) show as being partially complete but I’m not able to see or add or change the completed requirements.
You should be able to see all the advancement you entered in Scoutbook in Scoutbook Plus. They use the same database. Are you getting an error?
The completed merit badges that I entered are correct but I was having a problem with partial merit badges and awards. I gave up for a while and will look at it again soon.
It looks like the partial merit badges that I entered last night are correct. However, I have a few requirements to add to some badges that were started a couple years ago. I noted my problem with Family Life in another thread but I also have a problem with a Camping merit badge that was started in 2023 and am unable to enter any completed requirements after 12/31/23.
The issue with old Merit Badge versions has been reported to the developers. Watch the change log for a fix.
I’m still confounded by the National Outdoor Achievement Awards that I was adding in the 2 hours before the switch happened. It seems like my data is there but I can’t see it for most of the Scouts.
This is on the Scout’s profile page after clicking on “Pending Awards” and scrolling down:
But when I click on the award, this is what I see:
I need the Scouting America Member ID (no names) for the Scout with the missing NOA data.
I’m receiving an error message when I try to update merit badges. I have not had this issue before today. I tried earlier tonight and received an error when it reverted to Scoutbook Plus. I waited a couple hours and tried again but received the same error message. So far, the cooking badge is the one with which I’m having the most issues. Is there something else I should be doing to update merit badges now that this switch has occurred?
What is the error? What is the Scouting America Member ID (no names) of the Scout where you are getting the error?
I have several: 132794804, 133096303, 131847950, 12810718, and 130790103 are just 5 of the 22 Scouts for whom I was entering NOA Adventure data. I didn’t check them all because it’s late but right now, all of them look the same: some progress shown on the first page but 0% progress on the page that should have the details.
I’m having the same problem with the NOA entries. I don’t see an option to add the Adventure options.
I’m having the same problem with NOA. Requirements aren’t listed.
Yes I see the NOA issue and reported it - do like the idea of showing the other stuff on the page
