I have my number in and the box checked to receive these alerts but I still don’t get anything via text. Am I missing some important step for this?
Text is VERY sketchy with Scoutbook. Scoutbook uses an e-mail to text function which is being removed by AT&T and possibly other carriers sometime this year. I would not rely on text capability in Scoutbook for anything critical.
Is it on the road map to add a better text notification system in?
We have not received any updates we can share regarding the future of text capability in Scoutbook or other Scouting America systems.
Alot of Mobile Carriers are dropping SMS (email text) support from their systems, which Scoutbook relied on as a free solution vs a paid solution.
