The notes field in "Edit Troop" get overwritten with the internal message

I wanted to keep my national unit ID (100293998) under the notes section of “Edit Troop”. I overwrote the AkelaSync or what ever the internal message is. I thought that was a one time use of that field. When I went in today, AkelaSync was back and my note was gone.

Please have a separate field for AkelaSync and let the humans use the notes blank.

I have notified the developers. I do not know when it will be fixed.
