Thomas Edison Supernova Award - awarding/purchasing error

Hello,

I have a scout who has earned the Thomas Edison Supernova Award, which resides in the Scoutbook Awards module.

I am able to register the final requirement as complete and the entire award shows as completed, but it won’t allow me (as Advancement Chair) to mark this award as approved. With a green checkbox indicating complete and no way to change the status to approved, this award is in limbo and I can’t add it to the advancement report. Please assist. Thank you.

I believe this was changed to require council approval of the award, rather than permitting unit-level approval.

@CharleyHamilton You are correct. It was announced in the August 12, 2020 Change Log. I have updated the change log so that it specifically says Supernova awards to make it easier to find with a search.
