We recently had 5 scouts transfer to our Pack from another Pack. No advancements were marked off for 4 of those scouts at their previous den/rank level. After having conversations with parents they said their scout had worked on requirements. When going into their advancements, all adventure loops were disabled. Is their a way to deactivate the disabled button to mark off the completions or do I just advancement to the next rank and they don’t earn the previous rank and adventure loops?
Cub Scout advancement is not restricted. You can purchase and award the items without recording them.
I’m assuming these were earned under the old Cub Scout program. If so, they can’t be entered into Scoutbook because the old program was disabled in 2024. You could ask your Council to enter the adventures and ranks but it is not required.
If these were part of the new program, you would need to move the Scouts to a previous rank den, enter the items then move the Scouts back to their current dens.
