I tried to create an account for my son following the instructions in the knowledgebase, however I never saw an option to input his member ID number. So now there’s an account with a random number that’s associated with his email address and I can’t edit or delete it. Not sure what to do next.
The erroneous account has a member ID - 142305162 and his actual ID is 134761773. Any help is extremely appreciated. I’m just trying to get his account set up so he can see his progress on MB partials.

Can you provide a link to the KB article you followed? If there are bad instructions out there, I’m sure the SUAC will want to get them fixed quickly. This will help them locate them more rapidly.

Donovan fixed the my.scouting.org ID but I recommend contacting your Council to have the name he is registered under changed to his legal name.
MANY thanks to you all! Looking back at the instructions, I believe that @edavignon hit the nail on the head- my son’s name is his nickname in the database as opposed to his legal name, hence when I tried to create his account with his legal name it didn’t align with his actual account.

I’m assuming it went awry when I used his legal name. I’ll shoot our DE an email to see if we can fix that. Again, thank you all for your ridiculously quick response!!

Contact your Council registrar. A DE can’t fix it.
