Unable to Assign Merit Badge Counselors to Scouts

I am the Advancement Chair for my troop and since the migration a couple weeks ago (related to merit badge counselors) I have been unable to assign merit badge counselors to scouts within our troop. I am able to open the badge for the scouts, locate the merit badge counselor to assign, but when I actually click assign it tells me: Your position(s) and related permissions do not allow you to perform this action. I have tried this action from both within an individual scout’s record as well as through the Bulk Assign option and both kick back the same error.

I need to be able to assign MBCs to the troop members.

I am having the exact same issue. I have all the necessary permissions, but I can’t add a MBC to a scout. Frustrating and makes it hard to do my job.
