I’ve noticed if a parent had a transaction recorded in the payment log before becoming a leader they often end up with duplicate records in the Payment Log. They then show up twice under the Quick Entry log. Is there away to clean this up? See below screen shots.
@AndrewBradley - can you delete the zero dollar entries
Zero is just the current balance. There are transactions in that account.
@AndrewBradley - did the leader get a new member id when they became a leader ?
I think that’s what happened for some of them, but some of them are not leaders.
It is different accounts - even parents can get them pretty easily
How can you clean up the duplicate accounts? Can you merge two accouts?
When everything is moved to SB+ most should disappear. There might be some scouts that are in relationship to the same parent twice.
@AndrewBradley Mike has 2 member ID (MID) numbers. One is under his first name, the other is under a nickname.
His parent / child “Relationships” need to be moved from the MID with the nickname to the one with the first name. Then his Scoutbook accounts can be merged.
who merges them? Do I reach out to my council?
@AndrewBradley I already merged Anthony’s Scoutbook accounts.
I didn’t want to merge Mike’s until after his relationships were moved to his other MID (the one using the first name). Your council should be able to merge the Scoutbook accounts afterwards.
